Once again, David Cook has rocked my world. His rendition of the song “Music of the night” from Phantom of the Opera was awesome! The song is already sensual to begin with , pero if somebody like him sings it, parang mas nakakadagdag sa alindog nito. hehehe. Not that I think he’s hot though. He’s not my type , but I sure can appreciate the “male-ness” exudes. I’d really be bummed if he turned out to be gay. :p
Even with that said, I completely agree with Simon when he told David that the performance would have been better if it wasn’t so “polished”. Kung mas “raw” and “gritty” , mas sexy siguro ang dating! hehehe!…Mas lalaking lalaki ang dating non pag ganon! :p
Si Paula naman sabi nya David has a wonderful “instrument”– ano kaya ibig sabihin non? hahaha!
Anyway, watch the video clip for yourself and just click here.
Another contestant who made the most of the Broadway night was David Archuleta. He sang ” Think of Me” , also from Phantom of the Opera. Watch his performance here.
He made the song his own by putting that modern vibe to it. ALTHOUGH, it was quite disconcerting for me to watch him sing that song that way coz in my mind it has ALWAYS been sung by a girl. A beautiful, seventeen year old girl in fact. … That makes me wonder… did David choose that song because he thinks of himself as a beautiful, seventeen year old …boy? HAHAHA!
There have been rumors that David A. is gay…so let me just say… that song is so gay! hahahaha!
Nevertheless, it is a great song, and he really did a good job with it.
